The World Bio-Technology Forum (WBTF), a US registered 501 c(3) non-proft organization, is an international forum for the exchange of ideas to further the education of academia and industry about the business of biotechnology and life sciences.
	The purposes of the Forum are: 1. To provide bioentrepreneurs, scientists and bio-related industry professionals with an opportunity to become familiar with issues in the healthcare and biotechnology field. 2. To provide biotech and non-biotech professionals and students interested in pursuing careers in the life science biotechnology sector with a forum in which to interact with experts in the field. 3. To provide an international platform for bio-scientists, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, bio-tech transfer experts, financial experts and legal experts to interact and network. 4. To work in conjunction with local government agencies, academia and non-profit organizations to promote bio-technology commercialization, bioentrepreneurship, bio-business and bio-economy globally.
