The World Bio-Technology Forum (WBTF), a US registered 501 c(3) non-proft organization, is an international forum for the exchange of ideas to further the education of academia and industry about the business of biotechnology and life sciences.

|
The purposes of the Forum are:
1. To provide bioentrepreneurs, scientists and bio-related industry professionals with an opportunity to become familiar with issues in the healthcare and biotechnology field.
2. To provide biotech and non-biotech professionals and students interested in pursuing careers in the life science biotechnology sector with a forum in which to interact with experts in the field.
3. To provide an international platform for bio-scientists, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, bio-tech transfer experts, financial experts and legal experts to interact and network.
4. To work in conjunction with local government agencies, academia and non-profit organizations to promote bio-technology commercialization, bioentrepreneurship, bio-business and bio-economy globally.
